How Your Sponsorship Works

Your gift of love donation provides for school fees, lunch at school for a poor child, access to an after-school learning program which provide activities that build confidence and self-esteem. You’ll experience the joy of lifting a vulnerable child out of poverty.

When you sponsor a child for $40.00 a month, you empower one of our region’s most needy children to break the cycle of poverty through education and skills training. You help prevent that child from forced marriage and child labour; giving the child a healthy childhood and a purposeful future.

Your generous donation provides school uniforms, learning materials, a daily nutritious meal, and access to an after-school learning program. The child gets the opportunity to participate in training programs that build their self-worth.

When you sponsor a child, you build a lasting personal relationship with your sponsored child through letters, gifts and a mission trip to Bamboi, Savannah Region – Ghana. You will experience the joy of making the world a better place through uplifting a child out of poverty.

You will have the opportunity to experience the life of the indigenous, a Safari tour at the Mole National Park, the Kintampo Waterfalls, Buabeng Monkey Sanctuary and a life changing mission trip.

How your sponsorship empowers a child

Ghana’s Northern Savannah Region is one of the poorest with Bole District ranking second (79.4%) behind the East Gonja District (84.2%) according to the poverty map of Ghana report.  Many families are living on less than a $1 per day, parents are expected to purchase uniforms, learning materials and provide food for their children to stay in school – this is not within reach for many households. Without money to go to school children have no hope for the future.

Without an education, children become vulnerable to forced marriages, child labour, trafficking, drugs and crime – increasing vicious cycle of endemic poverty among families and in the region.

Your kind sponsorship, allows the sponsorship child to stay and go through school to the highest university or skills/ vocational training which empowers the child and breaks the cycle of poverty. Once a child becomes a teacher, an engineer, a mechanic, fashion designer, a doctor, lawyer and many other great professions, the cycle of poverty is broken – making the world a better place.

When your sponsored child reaches his or her professional goal, they are capable of helping uplift others like you helped them; they are capable of helping others in their families, communities, nation and the world at large.
