Emmanuel Donkor

Emmanuel is the Board Chair of the Foundation. He was born in New Longoro, Kintampo North; Emmanuel Donkor received a Certificate from the Bagabaga Teacher Training College and continued to the University of Education, Winneba for his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. He has taught both in Primary and Junior Secondary Schools in Jama and Bamboi respectively in the Bole District of the Northern Savannah Region between 1994 and 2003. He serves as a Biology Tutor at the Kintampo Senior High School since 2007.

Emmanuel Donkor is passionate about teaching the next generation in the best ways of living as a community, very keen about environmental protection issues/ nature study and performing Choral Music.

He is married to Vida and they have three children.

He is an innovative commercial farmer – winning the Best Farmer Award 2nd Runner Up – 2019 Kintampo North Municipal Assembly National Farmer’s Day Awards, and possess over a decade of experience in agroforestry and sustainable agriculture. Emmanuel is a member of the New Longoro Farmer’s Association, a member of the Southern Ghana Out growers Business Network (Sobnet), and a serving Leader in the Adventist Church.

He is experienced in tree/ fruit crop production, beekeeping, goat rearing, grain crop production, and poultry production – serving on the Board of the Bono Ahafo Regional Agricultural Review Council in 2017.
